Security Director's Report

There was a typically impressive array of "wow, cool" devices on display at ISC West—products that would seem to be a nice add for any security department. But there are also signs that technology’s impact is moving beyond simplifying the way security does things or improving how well it does them to actually changing what security does. Security leaders may need to alter their approach as a result, and no longer look for security systems to fulfill strategy but use the capabilities of today’s systems to formulate it.
