Report on Salary Surveys

Average starting salary offers appear to have remained flat in comparison with 2008, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ Salary Survey, the first report for the class of 2009. Last year, the average starting salary to all bachelor’s degree graduates was $49,300 (Winter 2008 Salary Survey), representing a 4 percent increase from the previous year. Currently, the overall average salary offer made to all bachelor’s degree graduates is $49,353.
