Survey Forecasts 3 Percent Raises in Early Look at ‘10 Pay

Companies continue to struggle with the faltering economy, meeting the demand for specific talent, and trying to anticipate the business climate for next year. As a reflection of that, compensation levels rose for certain jobs and fell for others, according to Mercer’s Market Pulse Report. In addition, early findings from Mercer’s 2009/2010 US Compensation Planning Survey forecast 3 percent increases for employees overall.
