Mercer Study Finds Pay for Pharmacists Is on the Rise

Pay for retail staff pharmacists rose nationwide, according to the 2008 Pharmacy Compensation Survey from Mercer. This position receives median total cash compensation (which includes base salary and annual bonus) of $108,700 this year compared to $102,800 in 2007, an increase of 5.8 percent.
