Managing Imports and Exports

By the time this issue of MIE reaches trade pros, the mandatory start date for filing Importer Security Filings (ISF) under the “10 + 2” rule will have come and gone. Jan. 26, 2009, was the implementation date for filing the extra import data elements with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP).
