Diagnostic Imaging Intelligence Report

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is proposing several changes to the Stark prohibition on physician self-referral, including a modification to the "stand in the shoes" provisions and a clarification of the period of time for which a physician would be prohibited from referring Medicare patients to an entity for designated health services following a violation.
