IT Spending Cutbacks: Survey Shows IT Budgets Growing 1 Percent Per Year Through 2010
A recent survey from the Hackett Group identifies a cost squeeze facing many businesses. In particular, this survey, which reflects plans at 80 global companies, shows demand for IT services rising 17 percent in the next two years. Meanwhile, this survey reveals that IT budgets will basically be flat in this same period. Upshot: These companies will bust their IT budgets unless they modify their consumption of IT services.
