The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provides a funding pipeline from the federal government through established channels to authorities at local, city, and state levels. Billions of dollars have been made available to local jurisdictions since the attacks of 9/11, and in the aftermath of more recent natural disasters such as hurricanes Katrina and Rita. To bridge the gap between the government’s needs and the private sector’s ability to deliver goods and services, the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA), presents the 4th Annual Homeland Securities Contracting Opportunities Conference to be held May 10-12 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.
