Professional Certification

IOMA pools its resources and knowledge of the field to launch its own, and support other, authoritative certification programs. These programs allow our customers to meet internal and external (Sarbannes-Oxley or other regulatory) standards for their professions. These certification programs also recognize those professionals who, by possessing related work experience and passing a comprehensive exam, have surpassed stringent requirements for mastering and continuing a body of knowledge. All require on-going training and continuing education, so an IOMA certification "plaque on the wall" signifies professional leadership.

Accounts Payable Certification

Developed and administered by The Institute of Management & Administration (IOMA) and The Accounts Payable Network (TAPN), the Accounts Payable Certification Programs offer three levels of certification:

• Accredited Payables Manager (APM) for department heads
• Accredited Payables Specialist (APS) for key AP staff
• Accredited Payables Department (APD) to meet the demands of Sarbanes-Oxley and senior management

Import/Export Compliance Certification

Developed by The World Academy and now offered nationally by IOMA, the Certification Training for corporate executives engaged in import and export compliance management and for members of the exclusive Professional Association of Import/Export Compliance Managers (PACMAN) is the only such compliance/security certification in existence.
