Form 1099: What’s Reportable?
September 11, 2008 at 02:00PM ET
Form 1099 reporting continues to be a labor-intensive headache for AP departments everywhere. The complicated, confusing reporting requirements, and threat of steep fines by the IRS have some AP departments already bracing for year-end reporting crises and panic attacks!
The year-end reporting process has, and will continue to grow more difficult each year—further stressing AP departments, many of whom are already stretched thin.
Are you correctly identifying and capturing all of your Form 1099 reportable payments? Do you know when you can exempt from reporting a payment that would otherwise be reportable? Do you know which payments go where and on which 1099?
Learn how to handle those 1099 reporting "gray" areas, what to do if you’re not sure if a payment is reportable, how to correctly sort and classify payments and when, if ever, you should correct a previously filed 1099.
This is the fifth year in a row we’ve offered this best-selling audio conference and once again, Marianne Couch, the industry-recognized leader in 1099 training, is back to make your year-end as painless as possible.
In just 90 minutes, she’ll answer these questions (and more) in her usual straightforward and easy-to-understand manner.
If you prepare 1099s, you cannot afford to miss this program!
